I recently travelled to the USA (Las Vegas & San Francisco) and Germany + Paris for a combo convention & holiday trip, visiting both NAB Show (in Las Vegas) and ProLight + Sound (in Frankfurt), followed by a stop in Paris to visit Disneyland and then a few weeks in Japan on the way home for a holiday.
Given the dates and locations of the conventions, as well as timing the “holiday” part to align with friends, the trip had me catch 12 flights over the course of 3 weeks (Brisbane to Singapore to San Francisco to Las Vegas to San Francisco to New York to Frankfurt to Paris to Frankfurt to Singapore to Japan (+1 internal flight), then to Brisbane…), but in the end – it all worked out and everything ran on time (I also collected a lot of status credits and points!). It was a fantastic adventure, as you can see below.
