I recently travelled to Europe (via Singapore) with a friend for two weeks to visit some of the world’s best Christmas markets, as well as attempt to see the Northern Lights. Thankfully, our attempt was successful, as you’ll see from the photos below!
As the flights were reward seat bookings (ie. they were ‘free’ – paid for using credit card frequent flyer points – I only had to pay the tax component), the flights were a mixture of economy, premium and business class – and the routing went something like: Brisbane to Sydney to Singapore to Copenhagen to Tromso to Helsinki to Amsterdam to Nürnberg to Gatwick to Singapore to Brisbane. Those marked in italics were reward seats, the rest regular cash fares.
