F*ck you boys (why I hate going to the cinema)
I went to see Avatar 3D last night – first movie I’ve seen in a cinema for years, and I suddenly remembered why I hate going to the cinema.
The movie itself was awesome – 9/10 from me, but not 3 minutes into the trailers staring, I was reminded why I hate cinemas. We were sitting, maybe, 10 rows from the back – and in the back row were two or three ~14 year old’s burping and making disgusting spitting noises. An adult near them turned around and said in a loud voice “If you don’t want to enjoy the movie then get out”. A few minutes later the spitting noises continued and this time, about 3 adults, from all around the cinema, stood up and yelled at the boys telling them to shut up, or leave (all pretty much at the same time). Good on them – power to the people and all that jazz.
One of the adults left to get an usher, who was about 20m away at the door. The usher had a chat to the kids and they seemed to quiet down, but after 10 minutes the kids moved to another part of the cinema. Good. I think halfway through the movie they actually left – and never came back. Even better! Fuck you boys. I hope you wasted your money on half a movie. How dare you spoil everyone else’s movie because you’re too retarded to have manners and do dumb to respect those around you. God what the hell is wrong with kids these days.
Not to mention people getting up to go to the toilet. The ads you have to sit through (thankfully my local cinema was built in the 1950′s and is “old-skool” – so not too many ads or trailers). Then there’s people whispering or chatting. People rustling in chip bags or lolly bags. Can someone invent noise-free lolly packats already? LOL.
Maybe I’m just getting senile in my old(er) age… but this is why I hate going to the cinema. The End.
