We all know what Telstra are like

Hello possums,

Sorry about having not written for a while – I’ve moved and have been stuck on dialup (*groan*) for a while while my ADSL provider plays piggy in the middle with me and Telstra about my new connection – first Telstra rejected the connection because the phone line at my old place wasn’t disconnected yet (since when did that have anything to do with ADSL – after all, this is a new line at a new house with a new number), then another rejection because my NEW phone line (which they connected, arranged and charged me for) didn’t exist. Then finally, for some reason (according to Telstra), the building I live in – simply doesn’t exist. Okay?!?! WTF? You have at least 1 line in here (mine). What about the other 50-odd units in this building? Do they not exist either? WTF??

Anyway, we all know what Telstra are like – so I won’t go on.

Right, well – now that I’m back on broadband (as of today), I can type in my diary without having to worry about tying up the dialup connection for the other users here :P The webcam is kinda.. broken.. still. Yeah, about that… LOL. It’ll come back one day :)

Meanwhile, I’ve been really busy at work & at home lately… which is why I haven’t been online much either (albeit with dialup internet). Among other things, my partner Jono & I are starting a new company (which involves [but is not limited to]: getting the business name, business bank accounts, credit cards, cheque accounts, logo, stationary, business cards, fax machine, domain names, web sites, starting to advertise, computer & studio equipment, furniture and so on). A colleague and I have also teamed up and are partners in a new company, that will soon dive into an online venture (more about that in a few weeks).

While all of that has been happening, I’ve also been busy unpacking boxes (still), paying bills, building furniture from Ikea (more is still to come – gotta love those alan-keys!) and working on CD’s & brochures (with business cards & letterheads in the pipeline) for one of my existing clients. On top of that, there’s about 3 web sites waiting to be designed. Bleh.. where’s my clone when you need him!

Anyway, enough rambling!

Because of the move, and due to all this ‘busyness’ (and not to mention a to-do list that’s 42 items long), I do feel a bit bad… as I know I’ve neglected some of my close friends :( But don’t worry guys, I’m still here… we’ll go clubbing again soon, meet up, do coffee, play UT2004 & WC3 against one another on the internet (as long as Jono can join in!) and yeah… since I’m attached to the internet now, feel free to chat to me. :-)

Miss you all, and talk to you soon!
