The Simpson’s Movie

Hewwo all! A bit of a quick one tonight, because Inspector Rex is about to start on SBS (my fav. show… hehe ). Last night Daz came over for our usual Wednesday night thing. We went to the shops first, to grab some pasta and chicken-skewer-y things (v. yummy). We got home and I was about to start cooking dinner when I realised the pasta needed milk (and that I didn’t have any ), so I walked down to the corner store and got some.

Dale played Viva Pinata while I cooked and had a shower. While showering I kinda forgot that dinner was cooking away, but luckily my clever boy was on the ball and had turned the skewers so the other side was getting cooked. Awww, yay! Dinner was delish – we wanted an episode of The Golden Girls while we ate… it was hard not to laugh with a mouth full of food, heh.

After dinner, we went to Garden City to see the Simpsons Movie. I had read a few bad reviews leading up to it, but I was actually quite impressed with it - I’d give it a 7.5 out of 10 actually. Some bits were a bit quiet (in terms of laughter – or lack thereof), but just as a friend had said – all the actual funny bits, were really funny. And there was a decent storyline too. Although it only went for 90 minutes or so, it seemed longer to me, so that’s good.

If you’re a bit of a Simpsons fan, go see it. If you’re not, well – you probably won’t find all of it funny. But I enjoyed it, and so did my boy.
Anyway, gotta fly – Rex is starting. Cya
