Oh… my… god – this Podcast novel is getting sooo good!!! I can’t get enough of it – Scott Sigler is an incredible author!
In the last few chapters… one of the miners has disappeared mysteriously after being left to dangle off a rope with a broken leg and arm as a co-worker went to get help, the ‘spy’ on the outside (Cealleigh Meyers) is about to steal one of the Koolsuits from right under the miners’ noses so that she can explore the caves herself, the researchers are seeing strange seismic patterns occur every 6 hours, the man who first found the potential platinum-mine wants to leave in a hurry, and the archaeologists have not only found remnants of a giant (like, 2 miles by 1 mile) rectangular trench dug around Funeral Mountain over 7000 years ago, but also a massive cavern deep underground full of rock carvings and pictures which tell a story of a tentacled creature slashing up anyone who enters the cave.
