I certainly don’t like this hot weather

How are we all? God – I certainly don’t like this hot weather… ’tis a bit annoying at times! Especially when you’re carrying Christmas presents home from the city. I decided against wrapping them immediately, cause I just know the wrapping-paper is going to stick to me instead of the tape. LOL.

Hehe quite a bit has happened since I last wrote. As usual, I’ve been talking to muh boy a lot – he rang me the other night while he was putting his kitty cat in. She’s so funny – he’d put the phone up to her, and he’s say to her “Say hi to Andy… c’mon.. say hewwo to Andy”… and then she’s go “Reow..” hahahahaha!!! Sooo cute! And it wasn’t just once, she did it on cue about 5 times, haha! I really love the way he makes me laugh – every time we talk on the phone or see each other, we’re always having fun and laughing so much.

My boi came over last night, and as usual we had a fantastic time! He brought his video camera over and showed me a few videos he’d taken in and around his home – one was of the lorikeets they have there – they are soooo cute! I love the way they pair up and neck-nuzzle and clean each other… taking turns. hehe. They’re really tame too – there was this awesome part of the video where 2 had jumped on his hand and were eating seeds from his palm; and he was using his other hand to videotape them doing it! hehe… so cute! He also showed me some promotional videos he’d done for his school when he was working there back in 2002. It’s really good! He really knows his shit – he’d used Adobe Premiere with After-Effects to do this one – best promo video I’d ever seen!! Effects like explosions, fire, photo-walls & cubes… you name it. Took a bit of rendering time, I’m sure… but it was great!

I’m so glad I met him – he’s unreal. We have so much in common (as frequent / regular readers would know by now). He’s into sound & lighting, video editing… the worx man *grins* After that, we chucked one of my remix CD’s into his bopping ‘lil car and drove up to Mt Coot-tha to watch the sunset. Mmmmm tell you what, its so nice driving up the mountains in a nice road-hugging car with some remixed dance music playing at a rather loud volume and thumping like crazy through his big sub.

And since we’re so similar and all, we both ordered the exact same thing for dinner up there too, haha! …Quiche Lorraine with salad Oh, and apple juice. LOL. Ah, it’s so funny. But it was nice. It was pretty empty up there too, so a perfect sunset almost to ourselves

I did my last bit of Christmas shopping today. What is it with gay people? I see so many potentially-gay, and obviously-gay people in the city all the time now. Has it suddenly become cool to look, or be gay or something? LOL. Weird… that’s all I can say. It’s certainly not a bad thing, but I rekon half of Sydney’s queen’s are sick of the scene and are slowly moving up here. LOL.

I had this idea a while back to make a web site or something like “queerqueensland.com” (not sure if it exists?) with maps of streets & towns all over Queensland where people login and mark down (on the online map) places of where gay, or potentially-gay people work / live. Not exact to the house or street number or anything (would be some privacy / legal issues there) but just a general suburb or ‘near-the-following-main-road’ type thing where people can submit listings. It would certainly help get a good idea of the spread of the gay population around parts of Australia and mainly as a census type thing… do more gay people live on the northside than the south? … and so on. I’m sure something like it exists somewhere on the internet (there’s doesn’t seem to be a first for anything on the web anymore), but it’s probably unlikely that there is anything for Australia. I’ve you’ve heard of something similar, let me know. I soooo don’t have the time for that tho… oh well. Another idea for the pile of “to do’s when retired”. hehe.

So yeah, that’s been my last few days! Life has been good for me. Everything’s exciting, fun and happy! On the web site front, I’ve so run out of time to do anything more than update this diary, so sorry about that… I will get around to redesigning it soon, I promise. The only other thing I’ve had time to do it put a few new webcam pics up into my December 2003 Webcam Archive. Enjoy
