Feeling playful
I know… I’ve been slack & busy. Too busy in fact, to do a diary entry for quite some time! Ah wells… I’ve been up to so much lately! A few days ago, I went to see the RiverFire fireworks display (as part of the Brisbane River Festival) – which was probably the best display Brisbane has ever seen. 2 bridges, 8 barges, 12 rooftops lighting up the night sky. James, myself & the family + a few friends found a great spot on top of a 4m high garden bed near the Queensland Museum – no one else was up there, so we thought – why not!! The view was great, and so was the show.
I also went to see the 2001 Brisbane High School Rock Eisteddfod Challenge Finals – it was absolutely awesome!! Thousands of schoolgirls and boys participating to take out the trophy – Helensvale winning the major award in the end. If you want to see a bunch of young people having the time of their lives dancing & performing to kick-ass dance music (well, most of them 
– you must go and see the 2002 Rock Eisteddfod. Awesome – highly recommended!!!
