Buying groceries online

Hello everybody! What’s new this time? Well, as per usual not too much. The past few weeks have been somewhat busy at work, but quiet a the same time. I guess a lot of IT firms are experiencing the same thing at the moment. No one seems 100% certain why… the crisis in America, the GST, Ansett? I just think everyone is happy with what they have, and don’t want to upgrade, don’t need new computers, and so on.

They’re predicting a boom early next year, though. And I agree with the predictions. But I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Anyways, so apart from work there’s weekends! hehe. I haven’t been clubbing for a while, so I think I might go next weekend. Should be good fun – always is.

Michael came over today to correctly “tune” my home theatre system… and the VCR wasn’t setup correctly to tape from the TV, but it is now I’m I’m happy Jan!

Everything else seems alright. Today, I ran out of $1 coins, so I did half a line of clothes washing today by hand, but it wasn’t too bad. Saves $6 or so And I must go food shopping again soon… I’m getting really low and water by itself tastes, like, ewww

A few months ago, I began doing all my grocery shopping online. It’s great!! For someone like me that lives in the city and has to put up with more expensive ‘Coles Express’ stores, it’s great. Low prices, no queues, home delivered, you can easily compare brands / prices, and no screaming kids at the checkout!

But when I get more $$, I’ll be able to afford more shopping. I ordered some videos off amazon.com the other week, and they still haven’t arrived!! It’s been like 4 weeks now, but let’s hope they’re just slow to arrive due to the whole anthrax / America thing.
