Brandt this, Brandt that

It’s over! 4 concert productions certainly kept me, my family & my partner busy! It all started a few weeks ago when we began rehearsals, then the concerts on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. After last night’s (Tuesday’s) concert, we pulled down all the lights, lasers, props, smoke machines, etc and spent a few hours rolling kilometres of microphone leads, DMX cables and extension cords, packing up dimmer racks, lowering fly bars, programming chases into lighting desks… the list goes on

After that was the crew after-party, which, as always, was really good fun. We spent a few hours laughing over some of the stuff-ups we had made, and some of the things that went on behind the scenes – especially some of the conversations on our comms. headsets.

Apart from the last few really busy and hectic days, the last few weeks in general have been really really good! I’ve had so much fun – everything from midnight bike rides with Brandt, to going to Maccas down the road for a McFlurry at 11pm, staying over my parents’ house with the rest of the family (and Brandt + my brother’s girlfriend), cooking dinner with Brandt for the family, going over to Brandt’s house, Brandt staying over and spending an entire day home alone at my place cleaning and doing washing and stuff for me (awwwwwwwww!!!!! *kisses & hugs*) and yeah. Brandt this, Brandt that, he’s all that’s on my mind right now…
