Anniversary: Celebrating one year with Dale

‘Afternoon everyone… I know, it’s been aaaages since I last posted – very sorry about that, but I’ve been a busy-bee / wasp / fire-ant
(select a busy insect / creature from the list provided). I guess the end-of-the-year is always busy for me – lots of shows coming up,
people getting family & wedding videos converted to DVD for Christmas presents, clients doing audio mixing, and so forth. I can’t complain
though – keeps me busy and pays the bills (and then some!).

I started working out again last week (after about a month off – slack, I know…) – and OMG, it’s weird coming back into it after quite some
time off the fitness regime. I could only work-out for 30 minutes before I was buggered! haha. I suppose that’s what you get for slacking off,
hey? The good news is that I’m virtually back to my 60-minute workouts now, so all is well once more.

Now, you’re probably wondering why there’s a photo of my boyfriend and I over there on the right (»). Well, it’s because yesterday
(12th November 2007) marked out 1 year anniversary together! Woo While 1 year is no ‘record’ for me as such (in terms of relationship
duration), it certainly is for my boy. His previous longest was about 3 months, so I think we’ve well and truly broken that record, hehe!
*must be doing something right*

Unfortunately we didn’t get to spend Monday night together because of his work and other commitments, but he’s coming over on Wednesday
evening, so that should be good! I’ve got some movie tickets organised, so we’ll go and see a movie together, have dinner, and so on. I’ve also
bought Daz an anniversary present / early-Christmas-present. I hope he likes it! I believe this one is more practical, and will get slightly more use than
the $185 silver bracelet I got him some months ago which he, sadly, only wore for a few weeks & then it broke or something

Ah wells! In other news, Jakey finally flies back from the USA on the 10th of December – less than a month, whoo! That guy is getting more sexage over
there than a teenager at Schoolies! week! Not that I’d know; I didn’t go to Schoolies Week because I was down in Sydney at the time for work. And he is most
likely gonna kill me for saying that, but he does mention his escapades (?) on MSN whenever we talk, so… I have no idea where that is going.

I think he’s gonna stay here for a few weeks / months until he can sort out a place (again) & some work (again). He’s once-again kindly helping my company at the upcoming end-of-year concerts (doing laser & projections), so it’ll give him a chance to help me organise things with the shows, program the laser, and so forth. speaking of end-of-year shows, I can’t believe how many dance studio’s have called their show “One Night Only!” this year – I know of at least three studios! Crazy, huh? Must have something to do with that movie. Dream Girls or Bad Girls or Bad Dreams or something. Beats me… (my movie-going friends are probably rolling their eyes going “LOL Andy, you’re so old-skool!”). Heh.

Speaking of looking for places, I’m hoping to move in with Jake when my lease next expires (mid-08)… because no doubt they will jack up the rent yet again. I can’t believe this place is costing me like $300 a week! That’s a lot of money for one person to pay for rent, all on their own. At this stage, my boy isn’t ready to move in or anything like that, but it’s all good. I think my next move will be to either buy a house and rent a room or two out to Jake, if he still wants to go ahead with that idea (to help me pay the mortgage for it), or to move in with Jake for a while (both paying rent) until I can afford to buy a place… again, if he still wants to go ahead with that idea. I think it would be beneficial to both of our businesses though – since we’re both in the same line of work (after-hours jobs, this is).

The ability to save depends on how much spending I do between now and <whenever that happens>. I’m going well so far – although Christmas is coming up, plus I have a bit to pay off on my Finance by QTR-1, 2008. So I think the savings will be stalled for a little while over the next quarter, and then I’ll be right to go ahead again. I’ve also been putting aside $50 a week for the last few weeks to pay for my boy’s anniversary present / early-Christmas-present. I was gonna get a Nintendo Wii for myself but I thought… I’ve spent enough on myself lately, plus I already have an Xbox360 So the money went into a Christmas pressie for someone special to me.

Anyway, that’s all for now. I was gonna post some of the 100 Random’s I have sitting in a folder waiting to be posted, BUT I am going to do a work-out instead, lol.
