400th post!
Wow… 400 posts hey? Who would have thought! That’s about 50 a year on average (almost one a week). I’ve wanted to post more often, but I never usually have the time. So yeah, here we are 8 years on. If I pull up my first ever post, we can see that…
- I was about 17 /18 years old
- My dad had just bought a new computer (a ‘kick ass’ 933mhz) LOL! The place he bought it from closed down a few years ago.
- My brother’s girlfriend (at the time) had just dumped him.
- I enjoyed my job then too (as I do now).
Moving forward another 8 years brings us back to now… and how things have changed. 933mhz computers are no longer kick-ass, in fact they deserve to be kicked up the ass (lol) or at least used a boat anchors / door stops / items in computer museums, and I’m now 24. Heh… but I think I enjoy things a lot more now than I did when I was younger. I have a great relationship with my boyfriend, I love my job, I have an established business on the side with a number of great corporate entities as clients, I am saving for a home(loan) and my business has a lot of assets. I love my friends, get along with everyone at work. Now let’s hope everything stays that way
Speaking of friends, last night was uberfun! Edz bought an Xbox360 a few weeks back too, so he brought over some games and his 2 controllers, so all four of us could play together – we played some monkey game which was fun, Crash Nitro Karts, Fusion Frenzy and Worms.
The plan for the night was for everyone to put in $10 each, and buy a bottle of wine, plus the ingredients for dinner and dessert. Could we do it all for just $10 a head? Actually, yes – with a few bucks to spare too (that was with a bottle of white, too). It kinda felt like a TV show, cause we had $40 to work with, and only 10 minutes to think of a meal to make (the travel time between my place and the shop). It was Edz task to get the ingredients for dinner, and then make it – and my task to do the same for dessert. Ed had decided on making a chicken pasta bake, and myself a German pudding with custard. Fortunately, everything went according to plan, for everyone, and both meals were very tasty & filling.
When one’s feeling bloated from eating too much, there’s only one thing to do… play Xbox360! So we did… till about 11:30pm
After that, Edz and his BF left, and Daz and I said goodbye. He’s such a good kisser. So hawt *tsss* ouch
hehe. So yeah, that went on for a while, and then he went home
Last night was also Brandt’s (aka Marmoset’s) 21st birthday, so a quick shout out – happy birthday to Brandty! I hope you got what you wanted… no doubt the marmoset drank too much and spent the wee hours curled up on the floor in front of a loo. Haha nah, it’s all good. When he was younger he did that. Now he is a mature, responsible adult. Isn’t that right?
Hehe…
Well, that’s about all for now. Since this is my 400th post, I thought I would leave you with a huge list of random’s – the list I’ve been promising to post for ages. Yeah, I know.. slacker ![]()
Enjoy!
